Last updated: August 25, 2026. These Terms of Service govern your use of Map & Mingle, a dating and matchmaking service for adults seeking connection, dating, and relationships.
Adults Only — 18+
You must be at least 18 years old. By creating an account you represent and warrant that you are at least 18, that the date of birth you give is your own and accurate, and that your use of the service is lawful where you are. You make that statement on its own checkbox, separate from your agreement to these Terms, and we record the exact wording you were shown and the language it was shown in. Date of birth is required at signup and verified server-side; underage registrations are refused and re-registration is blocked. Misrepresenting your age is a material breach and means immediate, permanent termination.
Content Involving Minors
Sexual content involving anyone under 18, real or depicted, is prohibited in every form, as is using the service to contact or solicit a minor. Where we become aware of apparent child sexual abuse material we are required by 18 U.S.C. § 2258A to report it to the NCMEC CyberTipline and preserve the associated records, and we do so without notifying the account holder because the law forbids it. Intimate images shared without the consent of every person shown are prohibited on the same terms.
No Commercial Sexual Activity — Zero Tolerance
The service may not be used to promote, solicit, facilitate, or engage in prostitution or any commercial sexual activity, as required by law including FOSTA-SESTA (18 U.S.C. § 2421A). Violations mean immediate permanent bans and reporting to law enforcement where appropriate.
Subscriptions, Renewal and Refunds
Paid memberships renew automatically at the same price and cadence until cancelled; cancel any time in Settings → Subscription, effective at the end of the current billing period. 7-day money-back guarantee: if you are not satisfied with your first paid subscription, email support@mapandmingle.com within 7 days of that first charge and we will refund it in full. Dispute Resolution — Arbitration and Class Action Waiver
These Terms require most disputes to be resolved by individual arbitration rather than in court, and waive the right to a jury trial and to participate in a class action. You may opt out within 30 days by emailing legal@mapandmingle.com with the subject "Arbitration Opt-Out", with no effect on your account. Claims that may be brought in small claims court are excluded, as are claims of sexual assault, sexual harassment, stalking or harassment arising from conduct on or facilitated by the Service — those may always be brought in court. Nothing prevents reporting anything to law enforcement or a regulator at any time.
Consent and Conduct
Every interaction must be consensual. Evading reject/ignore/block controls, unsolicited sexual content, non-consensual sharing of intimate images, harassment, and stalking are prohibited.
Location Features
Other users only ever see your approximate location (snapped to roughly 500 feet). "Available now" sessions are optional, off by default, and expire automatically.
Subscriptions
Prices, trials, and features are presented at purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled in your account settings.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or our Community Guidelines, immediately for serious violations.
